CAMBRIA COUNTY, Pa. (WJAC) — State police in Cambria County are providing new details about what led to Sunday's "emergency situation" at a residence in Portage.
Investigators say troopers were called to the home, located along Dulancey Drive, around 11 a.m. for a report of a shooting.
Police say the suspect, identified as 19-year-old Cody Anderson, had reportedly barricaded himself inside the home following an altercation with the juvenile victim.
Authorities say troopers later learned that Anderson had allegedly fire four shots, in the direction of the victim, during the alleged altercation.
Police say several hours after the initial call was made, authorities reportedly entered the home where they found Anderson deceased of a "self-inflicted" gunshot wound.

The coroner was called to the scene of an 'emergency situation' in Portage.
A 6 News crew on scene saw troopers and first responders still at the scene around 8:30 PM.

State police are currently on scene on the 1400 block of Dulancey Drive in Portage for reports of a person barricaded inside of a home, officials say.
While details are limited at this time, part of Dulancey Drive has been blocked off from public access.
