PITTSBURGH -- A 25-year-old Pittsburgh woman has been arrested over the stabbing death of a former Johnstown man found lying on a street over the weekend.
Ashley Henchell was charged Monday with homicide and tampering with evidence in the death of 33-year-old Ryan Carosi in the Mount Washington neighborhood.
The Pittsburgh Post-Gazette reported Ryan Carosi moved from Johnstown five months ago to work as a carpenter at his uncle’s company, DreamMaker Bath & Kitchen on Saw Mill Run Boulevard, said his brother, Devin Carosi.
Authorities said investigators believe Henchell and another man argued with Ryan Carosi inside Satalio's bar.
They allege that she followed him outside, stabbed him multiple times, then threw away the knife, went home and showered and washed her clothes.
Carosi was found bleeding on the ground near a CoGos shortly before 3:30 a.m. Sunday and was later pronounced dead at UPMC Mercy.
Henchell has a preliminary hearing on the homicide charge set for Aug. 25.
