JOHNSTOWN, Pa. (WJAC) — The Johnstown Generals Hockey Team is preparing for their "Heroes Cup" tournament. It will be held May 21st, 22nd, and 23rd at the War Memorial in Johnstown. At least six teams will be travelling to Johnstown for the event, which is held in conjunction with the Richland American Legion. The family business returned at 50% occupancy, with each stylist only working with one client at a time. Phil's human handlers chose Mother's Day to announce that the two kits born this spring to Phil and his partner, Phyllis, are named Sunny and Shadow. Sunny is a female, Shadow a male. Blair County animal shelter closed due to yellow jacket infestation

Blair Co., PA (WJAC) — The Central PA Humane Society in Blair County announced Thursday that the shelter will be closed until further notice due to a large insect infestation. According to a Facebook post from the shelter, a large swarm of yellow jackets has created a hive above the cat kennel area. SPCA seeks help after rescuing farm animals in Clearfield Co.
