Man who says he was sexually assaulted by Sandusky charged with attempted murder

A man who said he was sexually assaulted by former Penn State defensive coordinator Jerry Sandusky has been arrested in Massachusetts for armed assault with attempt to murder. Boston police said in a news release that Anthony Spinelli, 44, of Leominster, Massachusetts, stabbed a man Tuesday afternoon after getting into an argument with him. New counseling clinic opens in Johnstown

Choices Clinical Counseling in Johnstown celebrated the opening of its new location on Bedford Street Thursday morning.

The facility provides outpatient counseling services to those with depression, anxiety, trauma and other mental health challenges.

Because of the pandemic, staff says almost 90% of counseling sessions are being held through Zoom video calls.

Police investigating death of 5-year-old girl in Allegheny County

Authorities say the death of a five-year-old girl is under investigation in western Pennsylvania.

First responders were dispatched for reports of an unresponsive child in Springdale, Allegheny County, on Tuesday morning.

Police say the child was taken to a hospital where she was later pronounced dead.

The Allegheny County medical examiner is working to determine the cause of death and a homicide investigation is also underway.
