Centre Co., PA (WJAC) — The Fourth of July spectacular in Centre County, known as Fourth Fest, will be returning to its former glory as an all-day event in State College and on the Penn State campus. Due to the pandemic, and other issues, Fourth Fest was scaled down in recent years. Johnstown Mainline Pharmacy secures city's 2nd AAABA national title in thrilling victory

CAMBRIA COUNTY, Pa. (WJAC) — The city of Johnstown now has its second AAABA national title. Johnstown Mainline Pharmacy beat the New Orleans Boosters Saturday night at Sargent’s Stadium at the Point to secure the city’s second championship since 2018. Officials applying for funding to expand Blair County airport

Blair County, PA — Airport manager Tracy Plessinger says the travel experience could soon change at the Altoona/Blair County airport, and that the airport is submitting it's candidacy for funding. Airlines there include Contour which connects people in central PA to Philadelphia and beyond, with 2 flights per day. (WJAC) — Authorities say 150 animals were rescued from two residential properties in in Washington and Westmoreland counties in what humane society officials are calling an alleged large-scale neglect situation. The Washington Area Humane Society, with the assistance of the Humane Society of the United States, seized 150 cats, kittens, dogs and chickens.
