One injured after train collides with SUV in Cambria County

CAMBRIA COUNTY, Pa (WJAC) — Authorities in Cambria County say one person was taken to the hospital Wednesday afternoon following a train versus passenger vehicle collision. 911 officials say the incident occurred just after 2 p.m. in the area of Krings Street and Eisenhower Blvd. in Richland. According to a witness, the SUV was reportedly stopped on the tracks when it was struck by a CSX freight train. Son of man accused of abusing father's corpse arraigned in Ohio

KETTERING, Ohio (WKEF) — A man was accused of gross abuse of a corpse and tampering with evidence after a pair of severed legs were found in a home in Ohio. Edgar Keiter Jr., 52, was arraigned at Kettering Municipal Court Monday. The Trotwood Police Department on April 22 reported finding a bag containing two human legs at an apartment in Kettering. Three men face multiple charges for drug-induced sexual assault in Altoona apartment

Three men have been charged in Blair County, accused of raping women over multiple days at an Altoona apartment. According to multiple probable-cause affidavits, 42-year-old Andre Turner and 36-year-old Jason Oliver, both of Altoona, and 30-year-old Solomon Shackelford, of Pittsburgh, are accused of sexually assaulting the women between Oct. 20 and Thursday at The Taylor apartments along 13th Avenue in the city. Penn State THON 5K returns

CENTRE COUNTY, Pa. (WJAC) — This Sunday, the annual Penn State THON 5K race will return to Penn State’s campus, after the COVID pandemic prevented the run from happening in person last year. 6 News spoke with THON 2022’s media relations lead Friday afternoon. Last year the race was virtual. This weekend, it’ll be back in Happy Valley without the need for screens.
